A child’s years in Pre K through 8th grade hold the secret to preparing them for success – not only in high school and college, but for a lifetime. It is during these formative years that students develop a sense of their own abilities and interests and a secure belief in themselves.
From my first visit to Robert C. Parker School I was struck by the purposeful nature of the school’s program. By designing every part of a student’s experience to capitalize on each individual’s inherent curiosity and desire to learn, Parker teachers nurture feelings of capability and confidence in their students. Students are happy, engaged and proud. At Parker, spending even a few minutes in conversation with students reveals learners who are confident leaders and who understand that the education they have received is empowering.
Parker’s program takes advantage of its unique and beautiful grounds where students value spending time outdoors. The brand new Discovery Center invites access to the forest, pond and outdoor classrooms for daily learning. Our warm community, where every child is known well, makes joining us at any time, a comfortable transition, whether a student enters in preschool, elementary or the middle school years.
I am proud to be a member of this thoughtful and creative school, and invite you visit campus and let us show you the vibrance and warmth of the Parker program and community.
