One visiting student’s adventure at Parker…
Xingtao graduated from eighth grade at Parker in May 2015. He’s had a great experience! Living with one of our school families, Xingtao traveled with them to Florida and to see the sights in nearby cities like New York and Boston.
Xingtao’s host family had Skype meetings and exchanged emails every week with his family back in China. Xingtao has made many friends. Everyone at Parker loves him!
Xingtao played on our soccer and basketball teams, and skied with the ski club on Fridays. He has special skills in drawing and shared his talent with classmates. He participated in the eighth grade Hunger Awareness event, a mock trial, and a Shakespeare performance. He is also a leader in Assembly and attended a week-long class trip to Philadelphia in the spring.
Xingtao was well schooled in American language and culture, analysis in reading and writing, and in advanced math and science. He gave oral presentations for his thesis and at graduation. He was accepted to several prep schools for high school, and plans to attend an American university or college. See where Parker graduates have continued their education.
